Lia Zorzou

Who is Lia
Lia is a global voice for emotional intelligence and worthiness, a coach and guide who has transformed her own story of misalignment into a life of authenticity, freedom, and impact.
No longer living for approval or roles imposed on her, she embodies the truth that every person is already enough — exactly as they are.
Her work fuses deep emotional healing with high performance, guiding leaders, founders, and seekers worldwide to shed what isn’t theirs, reclaim their inner safety, and create lives rooted in alignment and joy.
Grounded, compassionate, and bold, Lia now lives what she teaches: choosing herself with love, embracing honest relationships, and leading a mission to impact millions with the message that self-worth is the foundation of true success
My Early Days
I was born in Athens into a Greek family with my mum, dad, and younger sister. Both of my parents worked for the national airline, and I grew up conscientious, always achieving good grades. On the surface, that was seen as positive, but slowly, being “the successful daughter” drained me of choice and autonomy.
My summers were spent playing with cousins in my mom’s village or staying at my uncle’s place in Santorini, before it became commercialised. Those days of wandering empty beaches, eating fresh fish, and dreaming freely shaped my imagination.
The one place where I felt completely alive was dance. Ballet, flamenco, jazz, modern and for seventeen years, it was my sanctuary. On the dance floor, I was free. My dream was to become a professional dancer.

Living a Misaligned Life
But my parents dismissed that dream. I was the academic daughter, destined for university. Slowly, my desire to dance faded, replaced by loneliness and a quiet sadness.
I followed their wishes: Social Sciences at the University of the Aegean in Lesvos, then a Master’s and PhD in the UK. I married, became a mother, and returned to Athens. I dreamed of creating my own business, and for a while, I thrived in Greece’s first startup incubator. I built a product, won awards, and felt inspired.
Then tragedy struck: my sister’s rare illness. I dropped everything: my business, my son, my own health to save her. After months of relentless searching for doctors and treatments, exhaustion crushed me. Depression crept in. At forty, I woke up to the painful truth: I had abandoned myself. I was living a life built for others, not for me.
What Beliefs Changed
In that moment of surrender, I asked for help for the first time. Therapy revealed how deeply I had been cast into a role since childhood: the independent one who never asked. My sister, the dependent one who always did.
Through systemic therapy, I saw how these beliefs “I must do it all alone” shaped my entire life. For the first time, I questioned everything. The lightbulb moments were shocking, liberating, and healing.
I realised:
→ I could ask for help and still be worthy.
→ My choices matter more than external approval.
→ Boundaries are an act of love, not rebellion.

New Positive Behaviours
I trained in therapy, deepened my self-healing, and began facilitating transformational programmes. I asked for help from global mentors to release limiting beliefs around money and abundance.
I stopped trying to save others, even my sister, and instead loved her honestly until her passing. I created work that combined emotional intelligence, entrepreneurship, and inner worth. I set boundaries, chose my truth, and embraced self-acceptance.
I no longer lived for approval or exhaustion. I chose honesty, alignment, and love first with myself, then with others.
Who Am I Now?
I am deeply grateful for my journey, because it gave me freedom. I am no longer the girl who lived for grades, roles, or others’ expectations. I am the woman who chooses herself with love, with worth, with honesty.
I know that every person is already enough. That unconditional self-worth brings peace, freedom, and joy. My mission now is to take this work far and wide, to impact millions around the world. To inspire people to ask for help, to shed what isn’t theirs, and to live the life their soul came here to live.
I am no longer alone. I am whole, content, and aligned with the joyful life I always envisioned.

How I Help People
For the past six years, I’ve poured everything I’ve learned into my Leadership Programme. After doing the deep work on myself, I knew I could not keep this transformation to myself.
Now I help men and women over 40 untangle the roles and beliefs that have kept them small, reconnect with their true selves, and finally create the life they’ve always dreamed of.
Many come to me successful on paper but silently exhausted, misaligned, or unsure who they really are. In our work, they reclaim their worthiness, their voice, and their vision so that success no longer costs them their freedom or their peace.
